IQ Option Login in Nigeria: How to Sign In, Sign Up and Fix Access Problems
Nigeria is fully supported: it is not on IQ Option's restricted country list. This guide covers how to sign in, how to sign up from Nigeria, and how to fix the problems that come up most: a forgotten password, “login limit exceeded”, a missing SMS code, and a blocked account.

How to spot a fake login page
- IQ Option staff never ask for your password or SMS code, on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, LinkedIn or anywhere else.
- Type the address yourself, or open the official app. Check the address bar before you enter a password.
- This website is an independent guide. It has no login of its own and never asks for your details.
How to log in, step by step
On the web, go to iqoption.com and open the login screen. In the app, open IQ Option and you land on the same screen. Sign in with your email and password, or your phone number and password.
If you signed up with Google or Facebook, use that same button to log in. If you also want a password, for example to use the desktop app, create one with Forgot password? using the email linked to that Google or Facebook account.
Demo and real accounts share one login. Once you are signed in, click the balance at the top right of the traderoom to switch between your demo and your real account.
How to sign up from Nigeria
Signing up takes a few minutes and needs no deposit.
- Open IQ Option's official sign-up page.
- Enter your email and a password, or continue with Google or Facebook.
- Choose Nigeria as your country of residence.
- Accept the terms and confirm you are 18 or older.
- Confirm your email from the link IQ Option sends you.
- Your $10,000 demo account is ready straight away.
Your real account only starts once you make your first deposit, from NGN 15,200. That deposit is also when you choose your account currency, so it is worth reading about account currency and account types before you fund it. Use your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID: a mismatch later slows down verification.

Create your IQ Option accountVerify your account
IQ Option asks every Nigerian client for two kinds of document before it releases a withdrawal: proof of identity and proof of address.

Upload your documents within 7 days of IQ Option asking for them. If they are still missing after 14 days, IQ Option can close the account. The name on your IQ Option account must match your ID exactly. Checks normally take up to 10 business days, and up to 30 in some cases.
Can you withdraw without verification?

Can’t log in? Fixes by problem
Most login problems fall into one of the cases below.
Wrong password
You have tried the password you remember and it is not working.
Fix: select Forgot password? on the login screen, enter the email you registered with, open the email IQ Option sends, follow the link, and set a new password.
“Login limit exceeded”
This message shows up after several wrong password attempts in a row.
Fix: wait a while before trying again, or reset your password instead of guessing.
SMS code not arriving (2FA)
Two-step authentication sends a code by SMS to your registered phone. You turn it on in your profile under Security.
Fix: check the number on the account, check your signal, and wait a minute before requesting a new code. To change or remove the phone number, email support@iqoption.com from your registered email.
Signed up with Google or Facebook
You registered through Google or Facebook and do not have a separate IQ Option password.
Fix: log in with that same button. If you want a password too, for example for the desktop app, create one with Forgot password? using the email linked to that Google or Facebook account.
Page or app not loading
The login screen will not open, or the app hangs on the loading screen.
Fix: clear cookies and cache for “All time”, then try again. If that fails, try a private window, another browser, or the app instead.
“Not available in your country”
Nigeria is not restricted, so this message usually points to a VPN, a foreign IP address (for example while travelling), or a country set wrongly on the account.
Fix: turn the VPN off and try again, then contact support if it continues. Do not follow advice to use a VPN to get around this message.
Several browser tabs open
IQ Option allows only one browser tab open while trading.
Fix: keep to a single tab. Several tabs open at once can lead to trades being corrected or cancelled.
Why IQ Option blocks accounts, and how to get unblocked
IQ Option's terms allow it to close an account without notice for the reasons below. A few can be reversed. Most cannot.

Inactivity is not a block. It is a fee that starts after 90 days with no trade or deposit, covered in our account types and fees guide. Either side can also end the relationship with 15 days’ written notice.
If your account is blocked, send support your account email, your account ID, what happened and when, and a clear copy of your ID if they ask for one.

Never share your password or SMS code with anyone who contacts you, even if they claim to be IQ Option staff. Genuine support will never ask for either.
